Rosalind Park.

A Nature Writing Workshop and Audio Walk.

Led by Mia McAuslan

Whilst in residence at the Emporium Creative Hub and funded as part of the City of Greater Bendigo’s Creative Recovery Residency 2021, Award nominated writer Mia-Francesca McAuslan created a guided walk that took a group of participants through Rosalind Park, Bendigo giving them rich literary examples and writing exercises that allowed them to see and write about the natural world in a whole new way.

In collaboration with Emporium Creative Hub, Mia has now created an audio version of this workshop, enabling you to experience it as a guided workshop whenever you like.

Get started now by downloading the Echoes App, and downloading the map, then heading to the beautiful Rosalind Park with your smartphone, headphones, writing paper and pens.

As you walk close to each marker on the map inside the app, you will automatically hear Mia’s audio recording giving you inspiration, thoughts and ideas to begin, or continue your own nature writing experience.

Should you wish to undertake this experience in a different nature setting, you can also access the audio recordings HERE.
